I was prepping these photos for a blog post and no lie, I could not stop smiling. I am such an observant person, and people might think it’s weird, but I love observing people and their relationships and how they connect with one another. I think that’s the reason why I love weddings and engagement photos so much. What I observed through shooting these two and even looking back through these today, is how effortless their love is and how much it even radiates through these photos. Sandra and Brad are some of my favorites because they are great people as individuals but they are even better as a couple.
It worked out that Sandra and Brad were going to be in Charleston the same week as me back in May, and I’m so glad it worked out for us to shoot at Edisto Island. I’ve been wanting to shoot at this location because of how unique it is, and I’m glad they were up for the adventure. We spent probably a total of 2 hours of bonding time in the car together, suffered from crab invasions, and Brad ended up having a million ticks on him in a matter of 5 minutes, but we survived, and this turned out to be one of my favorite most recent engagement sessions. I can’t wait for their wedding next August!
